The Cisco 7920 Wireless IP Phone provides the first generation
of wireless IP phones for Cisco's IP Communications solution.
The Cisco 7920 Wireless IP Phone is ideal for mobile professionals
within an office environment to associates working in the
warehouse, on the sales floor, or in the call center. Nurses,
doctors, educators, and IT personnel can also increase their
reachability as an ever-broadening range of industries adopt
wireless LANs.
IEEE 802.11b compatible, the Cisco 7920 IP phone works with
Cisco's Aironet range of Wireless access points (Cisco Aironet®
1200, 1100,
350, and 340 series of Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b) access points).
The Cisco 7920 integrates with Cisco CallManager to provide
comprehensive voice communications in an end to end IP telephone
solution.
The Cisco 7920 Wireless IP Phone
is designed for ease-of -use:
- Pixel-based displayProvides intuitive access to
calling features.

to the user.

the displayed information

users with the flexibility to either place an active call
on hold or to `listen only' to the conversation without

such as directories, call history and phone settings such
as:
- Easy retrieval of voice-mail messages
- Display missed calls, outgoing calls that have been placed,
and incoming calls that have been received
- Various preferences such as Cisco CallManager ring types,
user profiles, and preferred language
