Due to the Government requirements
for information access for public sector Healthcare by 2007,
the entire Health Care sector is going through a major technology
change.
These requirements redefine how information is accessed by
the patient, doctors, and nurses and other associated departments
in order to improve the quality of patient care.
Every user by 2005 must have PC access, and the development
of web enabled applications will enable access for all. Currently
few users have limited access to powerful applications. This
will change, with more powerful programs for use by all. Of
course meeting these requirements will have a major impact
on the network.
