Cisilion Named Finalists for CRN Women & Diversity in Channel Awards!

Cisilion are delighted to have been made Finalists for the Championing Diversity Award at the CRN Women & Diversity in the Channel Awards. This gave us a perfect opportunity to reflect on some of the positive change and future opportunities Cisilion have regarding diversity, equity and inclusion.

This year, we implemented a Return to Work Programme, initially aimed at Cisilion’s new mums returning to work following maternity leave. The programme provides individuals with mentoring opportunities with existing mothers within the workplace who have experienced both the challenges and triumphs of readjusting to working life, either at Cisilion or previous organisations. These opportunities offer new mums a safe space to discuss challenges, support opportunities and seek inspiration. We also have external programmes available to mothers, providing more structured and formal support plus professional advice.

Cisilion’s partnership with Cisco continues to grow this year, with some of the Women in Cisilion attending the Cisco Women of Impact summit. The day gave us an opportunity to understand some of the barriers faced by women in our industry, as well as giving us networking opportunities with other like-minded individuals.

We are proud to be offering some of our super star female leaders the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills with the Bridge the Gap programme, which forms part of Cisco’s Partnering for Purpose programme. This programme has given individuals such as Natalie Roberts, Cisilion’s Head of Procurement, the space to harness skills and make any changes to advance. The programme not only encompasses development strategies, but also focuses on the outcomes of specific diversity research.

There is certainly more to do, and we are looking forward to developing our existing ESG Committee, our graduate scheme and enhancing our policies. Cisilion’s ESG Committee is a voluntary group, focused on including thoughts, ideas and developments from the whole Cisilion team around Diversity and Inclusion, Social Value projects and Sustainability.

We remain focused and open, not only for our own business but in terms of the wider industry and upcoming talent. We remain committed to driving positive change and ensuring Cisilion is a truly inclusive employer, giving all employees the voice to drive change and reach their full potential.
