Describe yourself in 3 words.
Passionate, Driven, Fun
Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
I have so many as I believe we learn from everyone, good and bad. If I have to choose one it would be Steve Jobs. His vision was to look beyond technology and deliver an experience that changed so much that we considered the norm. Their technology has created a platform for the way we work, communicate, interact, listen to music, watch media and so on. Yes I’m an Apple fan š
What does going Beyond Expectations mean to you?
We all have a duty of care to put our customers, partners and employees at the forefront of our actions, to take ownership and see something through. Delivering what you are contracted/asked to do is a given, by remaining curious enables us to spot areas where we can really make a difference and stand out from the crowd.
Why did you join Team Cisilion?
During the interview process I met people who energised and inspired me, this is really important for me. The direction and ambition of the business excites me, and I very much want to be part of the future success.
What are you most looking forward to about working at Cisilion?
Working in an environment where my experience, knowledge and skills can be utilised and working with open minded, talented people who do great things.
What are you most proud of about your career so far?
Awards, shout outs, accolades, promotions are all wonderful and play to our ego and create amazing memories. What really excites me and what makes me proud is playing a part in peopleās development and watching them flourish and fly. Remaining in contact and being there for people I have helped and people who have helped me tells I am doing something right.
What are your long-term career aspirations?
I have already achieved more than I ever imagined when starting out all those years ago. I made a commitment to Nick and Craige that I will give my all to help Cisilion continue to succeed and grow, I think that is enough for now.
What is a professional goal of yours?
When starting out I had an ambition to be part of an executive leadership team, I am fortunate to have achieved this more than once. When I walk away from our industry I would like to be remembered as a someone who delivered a positive impact for customers, vendors, partners, employers and employees. That would be nice.
What is a personal goal of yours?
I am fortunate to say I am just about to tick this one off the list. Relocating to North Norfolk has been an ambition and dream for several years, in May 2024 it will become reality.
